Flagler College
Tour one of the most beautiful buildings in Historic St. Augustine! Formerly the Ponce de Leon Hotel built in the late 1800's by Henry Flagler, Flagler College is an active campus with a fascinating history. Learn about how Henry Flagler influenced the growth and popularity of St. Augustine for the wealthy elite of his time by building this destination hotel. Touring guests visit the Rotunda, with a domed ceiling featuring stylized Greek murals, the front courtyard area that is shaped like a Celtic cross, the Dining Hall that has Tiffany glass windows (the largest private collection in the world), and the Flagler Room, a parlor room with stunning chandeliers and a marble fireplace.
Tours conducted by Flagler's Legacy Historic Tours daily at 10 am & 2 pm (tours are seasonal and are subject to cancellation due to college events).
